GENERAL INFO | GROUP INFO | TEAM LEADER INFOGENERAL INFOWhat is the Rancho 3M Orphanage? Rancho 3M (Mexico Multiple Missions, Inc.) is a Christian Orphanage and School dedicated to and existing for the glory of God. Our vision is to see the children obedient to the calling of Jesus Christ in their lives. We work towards seeing our children go out with sound doctrine to advance the Kingdom of God in Mexico through the local church. You can read more on the What does the “3M”stand for? Mexico Multiple Missions. When the founders began the orphange, they had other ministries (such as soup kitchens, church plants, etc). As the orphanage grew, they put more finances into it and less into the others. Are the kids really orphans? Our Biblical understanding of an orphan is a fatherless child. In that sense, most all of our children are orphans. Their parents may be alive, but have abandoned their child (are in jail, are on drugs, are a prostitute, etc). Where is Rancho 3M located? Rancho 3M is located in Guadalupe, Bravo District, MX, just over the border near El Paso, TX. Here are some satellite pictures: Pic1 | Pic 2 | Pic 3 | Pic 4. When was Rancho 3M established? Rancho 3M was established in 1969 by Irene Lodgson and Marietta Wilhelm and was then passed on to Dean & Denise Adamek in September 2001. You can read more about how Dean & Denise got involved with the Ranch here. Who leads Rancho 3M? Dean Adamek is the current Director of the Rancho 3M Orphanage & School. He became the Director in 2001 and lives on the Ranch along with his wife Denise and their three boys. How are you supported? We are supported by individuals and churches just like you. People whom God has put on their heart to partner with us for the advancement of his kingdom. We do not receive financial assistance from either the U.S. or Mexican governments. To Whom are you financially accountable? We are financially accountable to an off site CPA Darlene Badeaux of New Orleans, our Church Administrator Pete Schefferstein, and pastor Keith Collins as well as a board of directors. How can I help support Rancho 3M? There are a few ways you can help support Rancho 3M. If you're interested in supporting us, following the Donations link from our home page. What is Rancho 3M's Statement of Faith? We share the same Statement of Faith as Sovereign Grace Ministries, the family of churches that we are associated with. You can read the Sovereign Grace Statement of Fatih on their website. Who is your covering? Following our firm belief that ministry should flow from the local church, we are a ministry of Lakeview Christian Center of New Orleans, LA. Lakeview is the The Adamek's home church providing pastoral care and oversight to them and thier ministry.

TEAM LEADER INFODo you have a sample schedule I can use as I make preparations for our group to come to Rancho 3M? Here are two sample schedules that have been used successfully. Feel free to use one as a template for your trip. Schedule 1 | Schedule 2 Is there anything we need to know before our group comes to Rancho 3M? Yes. All the information you need to know before you come down can be found in our Visitor Information Packet. Do we need to get Passports or Visas before we come to Rancho 3M? Because you will not be traveling more than 25 miles into Mexico, no tourist visa is required by Mexico. Starting in 2008, however, the border patrol says that you will need a U.S. Passport. It is being advised to not wait until the end of 2007 to procure your passport since the delay times will most probably be great at that time. Click here for more info. |
