Vision StatementRancho 3M (Mexico Multiple Missions, Inc.) is a Christian Orphanage and School dedicated to and existing for the glory of God Almighty. Our vision is to see the children obedient to the calling of Jesus Christ in their lives in order to fulfill what He has called them to do. This vision can only be accomplished by the life-changing grace of God, which we are dependant on, as we train up and disciple the children in the ways of the Lord Jesus Christ. The school exists in order to assist us in discipling the children. We work towards and would like to see our children go out with sound doctrine to advance the Kingdom of God in Mexico through the local church. How it All StartedDean & Denise Adamek had been praying for two years asking God for direction when in 1996, through God’s provision, they went on a week long missions trip to the interior of Mexico with their home church, Lakeview Christian Center (LCC) in New Orleans, LA. One morning, during group devotions, God began to reveal Dean's sin to him in light of His glory and it was overwhelming. At the end of that, Dean strongly sensed in his heart that God wanted him to come and serve in Mexico. In a less dramatic way, God also graciously gave his wife the same desire and a peace about it during the same devotion time, even though they were not sitting together nor had ever discussed the idea. LCC sent the Adameks out as an extension of the church following the church's belief that ministry should flow from the local church. They spent time in a language school in Mexico as weel as supporting other work going on in the region. During a time of prayer and fasting they felt God reveal to them His desire that they work in an orphanage and disciple children. They began to search around for an orphange that they could join themselves to. The Lord closed all the doors that they inquired into except one: Rancho 3M in Guadalupe D.B., México. So a year later, Dean & Denise loaded their belongings into their pickup and started the 36 hour trek north. At the time, Denise was 6 months pregnant with their 3rd son. When they arrived at the orphanage, they soon realized that the Director and co-founder, Irene Logsdon, who founded the orphanage in 1969, was dying. One day in that summer, Irene called Dean into the office and told him that she had praying and felt that the Lord wanted him to take over the orphanage. Dean spoke with his pastor's at LCC, and after seeking the Lord, they agreed that Dean & Denise should take over the Ranch and the Lord's work there. In 2001, Dean accepted the position as Director of the Rancho 3M Orphange. Since then, they've even been able to house, care for, and minister to thousands of children, many of whom have responded to the Gospel and have placed their faith in Jesus Chirst as their Savior. |
