FAQs on Logsdon Academy’s Scholarship Program at Rancho 3M .

What does my contribution help fund?

Your contribution helps to pay for a student’s tuition and school supplies.

Where is Colegio Logsdon?

Colegio Logsdon is located in Guadalupe, MX just across the border from El Paso.

Are all of the children at Colegio Logsdon from Rancho 3M?

No, while some of our students come from Rancho 3M, other students come from Guadalupe and other nearby communities.

What is meant by “war-torn community” as mentioned in the opening paragraph?

The area we serve was devastated by the drug war between cartels that lasted from 2008 to 2012. Because of the violence, many families left the area or were kidnapped or killed by the cartels.  Although most fighting has ended, our area is still struggling to recover from the destruction left by the war.

What can I expect to receive after sponsoring a child?

Upon sponsoring a student(s) you will receive a thank you letter from Colegio Logsdon’s principal, Teodoro Reyes, as well as a photo and a personal letter from your student. Your student(s) will also send you letters throughout the year.

Will I be able to have any correspondence with the student I sponsor?

Yes, your student(s) will send you a note twice a year to update you on his/her progress. You are welcome to write to the student at P.O. Box 3660, Fabens, TX 79838.
